About Our Foundation
Empowering disabled adults through education and opportunity
Our Story
Founded as a registered charitable non-profit organization, our foundation is dedicated to breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for disabled adults in the fields of technology and business.
We believe that everyone, regardless of their abilities, deserves access to quality education and the chance to build a fulfilling career. Our programs are specifically designed to accommodate various disabilities and learning styles, ensuring that all students can thrive.
Through government grants and generous donations from individuals and organizations, we are able to offer our programs at no cost to students, removing financial barriers to education.
Our foundation is named in honor of Sam Jacks, a North Bay recreation director who created opportunities for underrepresented groups through sports, including inventing ringette in 1963. Learn more about his inspiring legacy and why we chose to honor his name.
